The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. For this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
